- Coordinating and directing daily tasks of shop personnel.
- Interviewing potential shop hires.
- Welding per AWS using GMAW, FCAW, GTAW processes.
- Running manual mills, lathes, rolls, forklifts.
- Ensuring jobs are completed on time.
- Confirming jobs meet customer requirements.
- Assembly of custom equipment to print.
- Testing of custom equipment to written plans.
- Maintaining a safe and clean shop.
- Conducting shop employee performance appraisals.
- Performing preventative maintenance.
- Assuring that shop employees are working to JFT policies & procedures.
- 5-10 years in fabrication or machine shop environments.
- Well versed in GMAW, FCAW, GTAW processes.
- Lead fabricator experience.
- This position may require the incumbent to work with export controlled items.
- US work authorization is required & JFT will not sponsor employment visas at this time.

Job Description:This position handles all aspects of running a fabrication and assembly shop. We are looking for someone who wants to build and grow a high-performance shop in the Northern Colorado region and be a key member of an expanding company.
