Job summary
We are hiring a Pharmacy Technician for our pharmacy department in Rockville MDWe seek to hire an experienced Technician II who will embrace our mission to extend God's care through the ministry of physical mental and spiritual healing.
This position involves performing sterile compounding according to USP 797 and 800 maintaining accurate inventory of medications supplies performing patient care unit inspections preparing delivering medication restocking automated dispensing units assessing need for prepackaged oral solid liquid medications performing Medication History assessments and additional duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required graduation from an ASHP accredited or PTCB recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred.
- At least two years' experience in a pharmacy specifically using aseptic technique compliant with USP 797 and 800; working knowledge of USP
