The Opportunity:

Step into a world where health meets care as a Pharmacy Technician at Rosauers Supermarkets.

Under the guidance of our seasoned pharmacists, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operations of our pharmacy, all while delivering unmatched service to our customers.

What You'll Do:

Answer phones, address inquiries, and provide information to customers
Assist pharmacists in verifying the accuracy and completeness of medication orders
Process prescriptions electronically and ensure all information is complete and accurate
Resolve issues when they arise (e.g. rejected insurance claims)
Select the appropriate medicine and measure dosages to fill prescriptions
Sort, stock, label medication and monitor inventory
Assist with inventory management and stocking of supplies
Undertake administrative tasks (e.g. record-keeping) as assigned
Sterilize surfaces and equipment and prepare the pharmacy for opening
Comply with all security measures and quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations
Adhere to all laws and regulations pertaining to the sale and distribution of medications
Perform additional tasks as needed

Requirements:

Candidates must be 18+ years or older
Complete a pre-employment background check
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited pharmacy program
