Overview
Purpose Statement/Position Summary
Functions independently as an expert clinician, role model, and patient/family advocate in a specialty. Utilizes the nursing process in interventions with child, family, staff, and/or community. Functions in the primary role of consultant serving all patient populations throughout the CHLA care continuum. Demonstrates commitment to a patient and family focused model of care.
Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience
3+ years of pediatric experience as a WOC RN and 1+ year in the specialty area, or combination of relevant education and experience required.
Education/Licensure/Certification
Master's degree in Nursing from an NLN accredited school or Certification in Specialty (WOCN/ET or CVC) required.
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of California.
Current CPR training.
Pay Scale Information
$110,656.00-$190,882.00
CHLA values the contribution each Team Member brings to our organization.
Final determination of a successful candidate's starting pay will vary based on a number of factors, including, but not limited to education and experience within the job or the industry.
The pay scale listed for this position is generally for candidates that meet the specified qualifications and requirements listed on this specific job description.
