    Description

    We are in search of an AWS Architect or AWS Engineer for our client in Reston, VA on Hybrid Terms. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in AWS Data Migration Service and Test Data management frameworks, encompassing encryption, masking, data, and database migration.

    • Hands-on experience with cloud migration and microservices architecture.
    • Proficient in Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, development, and networking platforms.
    • Familiarity with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
    • This role involves establishing modern architecture and data structures to enhance management processes. The goal is to revamp outdated systems, reduce data transfers, and automate loan processes.

    Description:

    • As a key member of our team, you will advise management on creating and executing processes for developing technological infrastructures.
    • You will be responsible for crafting solutions from a process-oriented perspective and maintaining/upgrading current systems.
    • Analyze complex business problems, understand customer requirements, and provide effective resolutions.
    • Translate functional needs into technical solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Supervise existing infrastructure, implement governance protocols, and conduct ongoing evaluations.
    • Conduct modeling, analysis, and strategic planning to address technical challenges and identify potential opportunities and risks.

    SKILLS

    • Develop future-state architectures, ensuring compliance and driving delivery towards the set targets in alignment with business objectives and technology products.
    • Enhance understanding of current production architecture to optimize patterns, identify areas for improvement, and foster innovation.
    • Provide strategic leadership to enhance product architecture tools and operational models for application portfolio modernization and tech debt management.
    • Ensure technology standards, principles, and stack are up-to-date, and guide application modernization initiatives.
    • Lead the Single Family Domain Architecture initiative, defining technology strategy and architectural direction to assist engineers.
    • Maintain a repository of strategies and position papers to address emerging opportunities and challenges, providing clarity and direction.
    • Design and implement architecture patterns.
    • Lead the development of capability roadmap and strategy from an architectural standpoint. Mentor and support fellow Architects within the organization.
    • Collaborate with peers on application, data, and deployment architectures, as well as functional design specifications.
    • Expertise in Database and Management technologies, encompassing both relational and NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience with AWS Data Migration Service and Test Data management frameworks.
    • Thorough understanding of cloud migration and microservices architecture.
    • Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) offerings, development, and networking platforms.
    • Experience working with tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

    Certification as an AWS Solution Architect will be a valuable asset.
