    Description


    As a Tax Senior Associate at FORVIS, you value working closely with othersto plan for the future and to help successful companies and their owners avoidsurprises, coordinate tax strategies, and grow.

    You will provide authenticsupport to your teammates and clients and communicate regularly with them tounderstand their businesses and industries.

    How you will contribute:


    Providing tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory services topass-through and C-corporation entities with an emphasis on companiesoperating in the manufacturing and distribution, construction and realestate, professional services and technology, and financial institutionsindustAssisting in supervising, developing, and coaching professional tax staffHelping to develop and manage client relationshipsProviding timely and unmatched client service, exceeding client expectationsRepresenting FORVIS in the marketplace at networking eventsParticipating in the proposal process for potential new clientsParticipating in campus recruiting initiatives and programsContributing to FORVIS-sponsored technical guidance for internal and externalpublications and to internal learning and development sessions.

    Working with your team to assign projects and resolve scheduling conflicts
    We are looking for people who have Forward Vision and:
    Relevant progressive experience in public accounting or a combination ofcorporate tax and experience in public accountingA strong sense of ownership for delivering high-quality service to clientservice and experience servicing multiple client engagementsExcellent supervisory, team building, and time management skillsAbility to work well with a team, as well as independentlyExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA solution-finding attitudeWillingness to take initiativePrecise attention to detailAbility to work under pressure and against target datesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related fieldMinimum of 2 years of relevant progressive tax experience in public accountingor a combination of corporate tax and public accounting experience

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Master's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Law degree or a related fieldCPA license
