    Job descriptionThe Product Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting Rakuten's Sales Strategy and Go-To
    • Market (GTM) team across all stages of the b2b customer journey and product lifecycle.
    This includes marketing campaigns, content, sales collateral and training to support awareness, discovery, purchasing decision and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role will focus on driving demand and adoption of Rakuten's b2b performance offering.

    We are looking for a dynamic marketer to create breakthrough marketing ideas that inspire audiences, encourage product adoption and engagement, and build long-term customer value.

    Being able to tell a story that brings a performant, audience-focused approach to campaigns, programs, enablement and content at scale is a mustReporting to the Manager of GTM, you'll work closely with a cross-functional team.


    Key responsibilities include:
    Collaborate with the Product team to develop compelling, differentiated product messaging and positioning.

    Develop and partner with Sales Enablement to educate internal teams on our b2b products, the value propositions for each, and develop compelling messaging that will address their needs for the jobs to be done.

    Create and deliver product demos to illustrate Rakuten's capabilities, differentiators, and benefits for practitioners.

    Closely collaborate with management to build compelling, high-performing marketing campaigns that contribute to increased sales pipeline and new customer acquisition.

    Become an expert on the market, competitive landscape, and buyer needs and behaviors, with documented materials and regular presentations to educate internal teams.

    Conceptualize, write copy and provide art direction for educational and value-based product content for a variety of channels and purposes.

    Create compelling marketing content that maps to integrated marketing campaigns and product promotion themes (blogs, white papers, guides, emails and videos) and maintain development plan for resourcing and coordinated campaign planning.

    Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with an eye for quality, creativity and attention to detail.
    Build and maintain a strong collaborative partnership with product management, engineering, sales, marketing, and other functions across the business.

    Experience + Qualifications Required4+ years in B2B product marketing with proven success in launching new products and/or new GTM product promotionStrong communication, writing and interpersonal skills with previous experience working cross-functionallyExcellent writing skills for creating content and collateral (including white papers, data sheets, web copy, social media copy, case studies, etc.).

    Success working with customers to generate case studies, referrals, testimonials, and other customer referencesExemplary critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

    Proven ability to pivot with changing requirements and priorities.
    Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong command of project management.

    At the time of posting, Rakuten expects the base compensation for this role to be within the range shown below.

    Individual compensation will vary based on job-related factors, including the skills, qualifications, and experience of the successful candidate as well as business need and geographic location.

    The successful applicant for this role will be eligible for discretionary bonus, health, vision, dental insurance, 401k matching, PTO, Volunteer Time Off (VTO), and other employee benefits as the company implements.
