    SOC is seeking an experienced integrated project scheduler to join a growing team of support staff to provide full-time, immediate technical planning and resource scheduling support to a federal site in Indian Head, MD.

    This position will be full-time on-site but requires a candidate to be local to the MD/DC/VA area for occasional travel to a federal site in Indian Head, MD. The position will include interaction and support from personnel at the federal site, as well as from Chantilly, VA, and Arlington, VA offices. Indian Head is approximately 30 miles from Washington, DC, 25 miles from Alexandria, VA, and 60 miles from Fredericksburg, VA.

    Job Description:

    • Using Microsoft project to integrate multiple individual project schedules into interdependent master schedules with a focus on resource (personnel and physical) management. Specifically applying expertise in advanced Microsoft Projects to develop and manage complex projects (including scheduling dependencies with predecessor and successor assignments, automatic scheduling, resource delegation, calendar integration, critical path analysis, task sheets, Gantt charts), and troubleshooting existing projects
    • Working with management, developers, engineers, and vendors to gather schedule data and coordinate project goals
    • Analyzing and proactively communicating schedule and resource conflicts and conclusions to management
    • Scheduling, leading, and assisting with project planning meetings
    • Performing various other administrative duties as requested by the client

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • At least 5 years of experience relevant to the support described above
    • Expert-level Microsoft Project skills
    • Strong interpersonal skills and self-motivated to engage with personnel
    • Strong organizational and planning skills, excellent communications skills (both written and verbal), meticulous attention to detail, highly motivated, and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks with limited oversight
    • Ability to multi-task, problem-solve, and quickly adapt to changing priorities
    • Have or be able to obtain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

    Ideal Candidates will have:

    • Bachelor's degree (minimum GPA of 3.0)
    • Experience in an IT environment
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
    • Federal contract or facilities experience
    • Hold an active secret-level security clearance
