As a Security Officer - Flex Entry Control in Franklin, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and access control requirements at a logistics and distribution location.

Monitor and control entry and exit at gates, guard shacks, and/or lobby checkpoints by verifying identification, issuing and collecting badges, and directing vehicles and pedestrians to designated areas.

Maintain accurate access control records such as visitor logs, driver check-in documentation, and key control or credential tracking, and report irregularities per site procedures.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services when appropriate.

Conduct regular and random patrols of docks, yards, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized access and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
