    Shutts & Bowen, a full-service law firm serving clients locally, nationally, and internationally, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator in our Orlando office.


    Our Marketing Coordinators report to the Marketing Manager and is expected to be proactive team member who is self-motivated in implementing the day-to-day operations of the marketing department.

    The Marketing Coordinator assists in executing strategy and regularly communicates with external audiences through various channels, including print, web, and social media.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
    Update attorney biographies
    Update the firm's website content, including posting attorney accomplishments and news
    Write press releases and interact with newspapers, magazines, etc.
    Draft news items for the firm website, intranet, and internal communications vehicles
    Interact with the firm's public relations agency to promote firm attorneys in the press
    Develop ads and related information to be placed in event program books (such as charity dinners)
    Update and maintain LinkedIn profiles for all lawyers
    Update and maintain Facebook and Twitter presence daily
    Assist lawyers in writing and maintaining daily blogs for different practice areas
    Coordinate and plan Firm Retreat, Firm Picnic, Annual Partners Meeting, and other events
    Coordinate and plan receptions at the Firm
    Coordinate and plan luncheon and breakfast business development events at the Firm
    Serve as the main point of contact with legal guides and directory organizations, including Martindale-Hubbell, Chambers, and Super Lawyers, coordinating submissions to surveys, legal directories, and key awards and rankings
    Manage and develop internal databases for tracking client and potential client contacts
    Develop social media strategies with the Marketing Manager
    Prepare business development materials, including drafting pitches, collaborating with attorneys on proposals, managing and submitting responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
    Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a similar course.
    Marketing-related experience within a professional services industry.

    Familiarity with marketing professional services to the general public, preferably with law firms, and consistent with attorney rules of professional responsibility.

    Familiarity with and fluency in various marketing mediums, including website design, SEO, and social media marketing through Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, blogs, online video, and related media.

    Computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and preferred experience with the Adobe Creative Suite (or comparable graphic expertise).


    LANGUAGE SKILLS
    Knowledge of grammatical rules for the English language and strong spelling skills.
    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
    Strong attention to detail. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from attorneys, clients, coworkers, and the general public.

    The position requires physical attendance in the office with core hours of 9:00 A - 5:30 P.
