    Description

    Our client is currently seeking a Transport Engineer in Richardson, TX.Qualified Candidates may send resume directly to CKirmse for immediate consideration.


    This job will have the following responsibilities:
    Perform detailed equipment engineering for network
    augments.
    Develop specifications for install, turn-up, inventory,
    and configuration of the equipment,
    Obtaining appropriate management approvals, issuing
    purchase orders,
    Creating applicable diagrams/ drawings, and ensuring
    vendor delivery.
    Develop Bill of Material and place orders for network
    equipment, rack, and hardware requirements
    Qualifications & Requirements:5+ years of experience in Transport EngineeringTechnology experience (1 or more):
    Ciena, Nortel, Fujitsu, Cisco, Alcatel-Lucent SONET and DWDMExperience in PON, NGPON2, FiOS and FTTP is a plusMS Office and CAD
