    *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    • Responsible for ongoing compliance monitoring of the

    HHS IFR:

    Standards to Prevent, Detect, and Respond to Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment Involving Unaccompanied Children at the Hillsides_Unidos _shelter.


    • Regular monitoring of grievance boxes and working closely with Hillsides Grievance Officer to ensure all received grievances are addressed and outcomes are documented according to Hillsides_Unidos _policy.
    • Provide ongoing communication with Hillsides_Unidos_ staff regarding current standards and/or upcoming changes in documentation requirements per ORR relating to PSA program wide.
    • Oversee and conduct routine case file reviews for compliance to ORR requirements during the UCs stay and post-release.
    • Document discrepancies in electronic file, distribute corrections needed to the assigned supervisor, and ensure that all audit discrepancies are corrected within the allocated time.
    • Serve as a subject matter expert and internal point of contact for the ORR Case File requirements for staff and all requirements for PSA compliance as outlined in the

    HHS IFR:
    Standards to Prevent, Detect, and Respond to Sexual Abuse and Sexual Harassment Involving Unaccompanied Children

    • Problem solves documentation compliance issues with PSAC-Manager and program leadership.
    • Participate in routine PSA unannounced rounds in the cottages and report any suspicious activity to PSAC-Manager
    • Responsible for maintaining the PSA Multi-Lingual document master folder, requesting translations as needed for new languages spoken in the cottages.
    • Weekly attendance at the cottage house meetings.
    • Assist in admission and discharge activities as needed.
    • Participate in audit preparation and special projects.
    • Attend Hillsides_Unidos_ staff meetings.
    • Other duties as required.
    *REQUIREMENTS:
    * *Bilingual in Spanish Strongly Preferred.

    • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or social services or business administration or management.
    • At least 1 year of experience working with child welfare standards, best practices, or quality assurance or compliance.
    • Valid California driver's license, clean driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier.
