    About the Role:We are looking for a talented and experienced Engineering Manager to lead our amazing infrastructure team.

    Our engineering culture is centered around inclusion, communication, collaboration and education. This manager will act as a face of this culture, working to implement and cement this culture across various teams and geographies.

    For the manager of this team, we are looking for someone with experience building and managing cloud infrastructure with a concentration on security and quality, as well as in-depth knowledge and expertise in managing and developing engineers.

    Responsibilities and Scope:
    • Technical Leadership:
      • Define the vision and roadmap for the infrastructure team.
      • Lead the architectural design of solutions, ensuring quality, scalability, reliability, and security best practices are followed.
      • Be a subject matter expert in infrastructure and serve as a resource for the engineering organization.
      • Implement and manage infrastructure on AWS and other P/SaaS platforms.
      • Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD), DevOps principles and tools.
      • Establish and maintain robust monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for all platforms, with concentration on security, performance, and cost-efficiency.
    • Team Management:
      • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team of engineers.
      • Recruit, interview, and hire top engineering talent.
      • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.
      • Provide clear direction, delegate tasks effectively, and hold team members accountable.
      • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, security, operations, application development) to understand requirements and enable successful projects.
      • Work with product management to define technical roadmaps and ensure infrastructure supports business goals.
    Skills Required:
    • 5+ years of direct managerial experience and 7+ years of infrastructure experience, preferably in a regulated industry (finance, healthcare, DoD)
    • Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of engineers through promotions and performance reviews.
    • Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including compute, storage, networking, and security.
    • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
    • Curious about Blockchain and willing to learn and remain up to date with cryptocurrency news and trends.
    This role is based in New York City and will be expected to work from our New York office in a hybrid model Monday - Wednesday.

    (NYC only) Pursuant to Section 8-102 of title 8 of the New York City administrative code, the base salary range for this role is $200,000-$240,000. Total compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
