    This role is pivotal in developing and executing global downstream strategy, leading a diverse team, and partnering with executive leaders across multiple functions.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for all downstream segments, including refining, fuels and feedstocks, the chemical processing industry, and water.

    Key responsibilities include creating and executing plans for innovation, pricing, portfolio optimization, cost savings, digital, and demand generation.

    The role demands a seasoned business leader with a blend of strong business acumen and a technical skillset, capable of managing at both strategic and tactical levels, and with a proven track record in the industrial sector.

    Applicants for the VP, Global Marketing Downstream position at the company must have a Bachelor's degree in marketing or a business-related field, a technical degree in chemistry or chemical engineering, and at least 10 years of professional sales and/or marketing experience in the industrial sector.

    Strong knowledge of regulatory and carbon capture methodology, prior supervisory experience, and a background in working with direct and non-direct sales models are essential.

    The role requires the ability to communicate a sense of vision and mission, motivate and inspire teams, and work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

    Preferred qualifications include an MBA with 8 years of professional sales and marketing experience in the industrial sector, experience with global teams, and a background in field sales support.
