    About the Assistant Brand Manager role:

    The Brand Management organization is a dynamic team that leads the development and growth of our Brands.

    The ABM will be a key partner to the Brand Leaders and have ample opportunity to grow and develop skills while touching all aspects of the business; from business planning to product development (all the way from ideation to the execution of commercial product launches).

    ABMs at Adventure Ready Brands have responsibility for specific projects and activities in support of ARB's Brands.

    An ABM must be a strong leader of projects and develop the skills to lead cross functional teams and coordinate execution across a range of internal and external stakeholders.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    Develop products and bring them to market with executional excellence in support of strategic business plans to deliver against annual brand targets.

    Learn systems and operate with strong attention to detail to ensure ARBs products are delivered to our customers with flawless execution (e.g. set up new items)

    Understand the competitive landscape and make recommendations for how to win in the market via product, price, promotion, and distribution.

    Use market data and consumer insight to understand new opportunities for the brand and/or product development.

    Opportunity to lead the execution of disruptive creative campaigns, brand content, and brand promotions to be executed across traditional, digital, social and in-store.

    Provide support for Brand Leaders in the development and maintenance of product assortment including product specifications and system management.
    Manage artwork timelines and process across multiple projects to ensure best-in-class packaging and claims.
    Support Brand Leaders with Operations and Quality Control Department issues and activities.
    Review and update catalogs, price lists, and master sheet with great attention to detail.
    Assist in product sell-in for customers, including development of mockups and samples.

    Assist Brand Leader in assuring web site content is up to date and with messaging that is consistent with the product and brand guidelines.

    Flows with agility to other work priorities with a business owner mindset.

    Works interdepartmentally with Quality Control and Quality Assurance to ensure compliance within the cGMP system for brand and marketing projects, changes, and requests.

    Requirements

    Bachelor's Degree and interest in building a marketing career
    Self-driven, results-oriented with a sense of urgency and a passion to win
    Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint/Word/Excel)
    Strong analytical capability and critical thinking skills
    Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
    Comfortable with presentations and general communication to senior management
    Team player able to effectively interact and work with various functional departments
    Flexibility and ability to adapt to change and operate effectively in ambiguous situations
    Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize daily demands to meet tight deadlines
