We are looking for special Family Practice medical professionals (NP, PA) to serve the primary care needs of our local rural community residents in Colusa, California.

1. The family practice clinic provider focuses on utilizing a holistic approach to patient care with emphasis on health promotion & patient education/counseling as well as supporting direct care staff through education and mentorship.

Instruct patients on selected therapeutic and diagnostic procedures consultation laboratory examinations relevant to their case Educate and counsel patient family members concerning health promotion self-care skills disease prevention treatment options in coordination with other healthcare providers Participate in periodic meetings that enhance an interdisciplinary approach to primary health care Identify quality improvement issues respect improving patient care Maintain current level of knowledge relative professional medical practice Educate act resource ancillary staff Request specialty referrals w/consultations where applicable Job Types: Full-time Employment NP/PA (FT 40hr/wk)
