    We currently seeking a Clinical Cordinator to join our team.


    The Clinical Coordinator must possess a mastery of basic clinical activities and some advanced clinical activities while keeping a strong focus on overall patient throughput and satisfaction.

    This individual offers primary support to the Director of Physician Practices with every day operations and serves as the point person when she/he is not onsite.

    Tey are required to work independently, problem solve, and make decisions and address incoming matters for the Director of Physician Practices as needed.

    This person manages and/or assists with work on assigned projects and programs for the Director of Physician Practices, consistently interfacing with internal and external customers at all levels.

    The Clinical Coordinator will work in collaboration with the Medical Assistant Supervisor and the Front Office Supervisor to meet staffing needs.

    We envision this postion primarily supporting our brand-new, state-of-the-art Waterbury Clinic.

    Responsibilities


    • Applies critical thinking knowledge, integration skills and considers alternatives in a multitask workload. Collects integrates data from multiple sources, seeks assistance information appropriately.
    • Communicates with patients, team members, and management in an accurate, timely manner. Reports pertinent data, completes forms and charting, protects confidentiality, attends staff meetings or retrieves information from same, reads communications.
    • Recommends new and/or revised policies and procedures to the Practice Director relating to clinical services.
    Performs quality assurance studies as necessary. Supports EOC Rounding and follow-up resulting from a review.

    • Develops and maintains human care relationships & integrates the influence of the human experience of health, illness &/or healing. Adapts care for diverse populations, assists colleagues with care delivery, refers all concerns/issues to appropriate resource.
    • Interacts to a high degree with our providers to ensure a smooth flow to the day.
    • Incorporates teaching in delivery of care and demonstrates competence in Orthopaedic care and rehabilitation.
    Applies leadership skills appropriately. Coordinates care within the multi-disciplinary team, interacts in a professional manner, communicates directly, verbalizes scope of practice for self and others

    • Will be actively involved in creating education materials and promoting educational programs appropriate for the patient population seen in the practice.
    • Participates in updating Policies and SOP's for the Mansfield Orthopaedics.
    • Integrates various aspects of specific knowledge for the patient populations served within unit area of hire: applies knowledge of expected norms in planning interventions.
    • Fields all in person visit issues while onsite regarding complaints which may be resolved or referred to Quality Management for resolution and follow up.
    • Ability to work as a Physician Extender
    Qualifications


    Education Requirements:

    • Minimum of an Associate degree.

    Education Desired:

    • Athletic Trainer - AT-C

    Experience Requirements:

    • Five years of practical support services experience in a healthcare or related setting. Experience in volunteer services, community board participation and/or other community service activities.

    Experience Desired:

    • Supervisory experience. Experience in an outpatient clinic setting

    License and Certification Desired:

    • Certified Athletic Trainer
