A critical access hospital located in a mountainous region near Chico, California has a full-time, permanent opportunity available for a Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join their growing team

Pay: up to $128,960/annually; depending on experience

Sign on bonus and relocation reimbursement

Clinical Laboratory Scientist Opportunity:

· Full-time; permanent direct hire position

· Schedule: Days, 4x10's

· On call is split amongst other CLS

Clinical Laboratory Scientist Duties:

· Assist in preparation of specimens, operation of selected equipment and clerical duties; pre-analytic assessment of submitted specimens to ensure specimen quality is suitable for processing. Perform blood collection by venipuncture and capillary puncture. Responsible to assist in the ongoing data collection for workload statistics and other reports

· Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results

· Engage in ongoing professional development and education to stay current with industry advancements.

Clinical Laboratory Scientist Requirements:

· Must have a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist license

· 3+ years' experience as a generalist in an acute care hospital, preferred

· Microbiology and immunohematology experience strongly preferred
