    Description

    Our client, a thriving financial technology and services company, is looking for a talented AWS Certified Solutions Architect to join their team. This role involves designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). You'll collaborate closely with the engineering and operations teams to ensure that the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and effective, playing a crucial role in agile release management processes. This position is based in the company's Edison, NJ office.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design: Create and implement cloud solutions architecture based on AWS services to meet business needs.
    • Deployment: Manage and execute the deployment of efficient and secure cloud-based solutions.

    Consultation: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

    Optimization: Continuously optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and security.

    Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation for architecture designs, implementations, and procedures.

    Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues related to AWS infrastructure and services.

    Security: Implement best practices for security and compliance, including data protection and identity management.

    Automation: Create scripts and tools to automate tasks and enhance system efficiency.

    • & Support: Provide guidance and training on AWS services and best practices.
    • Release Management: Participate in agile release management processes to ensure timely delivery of features and updates.

    Requirements:

    Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional level).

    • At least 3-5 years of experience in a similar role with hands-on experience in designing, deploying, and managing AWS infrastructure.
    • Skills: Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudFormation, IAM, and more.
    • & Programming: Understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

    Networking: Strong grasp of networking concepts and experience in VPC design and management.

    • Practices: Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation, and orchestration tools.
    • Best Practices: Thorough understanding of AWS security services and best practices.
    • Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies and release management processes.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

    • Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional.
    • Certifications: Other relevant AWS certifications like AWS Certified DevOps Engineer.
    • with Databases: Proficiency in managing AWS databases such as DynamoDB, Aurora, and RDS.

    Containerization: Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.

    • & Logging: Familiarity with AWS CloudWatch, AWS Config, and third-party monitoring tools.
