    Job Description Summary

    Henry Ford College presents an opportunity for an Admissions Associate III.

    The Admissions Associate III organizes, schedules, and conducts student campus tours and select events, orders inventory, processes invoices and purchase orders. They assist in the admissions process, including the processing of student inquiries, transcripts, and admissions applications. The Admissions Associate III will work with various online technical systems to ensure the timely and accurate processing of student information. The Admissions Associate III will provide substantive assistance to the Admissions and Recruiting team in hosting public events on campus to welcome students and school partners. The Admissions Associate III will be a friendly and caring individual who will prioritize positive, welcoming, knowledgeable service to current students, prospective students, families, guests, and partners. The Associate will also assist student employees and other college staff with admissions-related questions.     Schedule: Some flexibility may be provided. What follows is our anticipated schedule at this time:
    Monday and Thursday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities including but not limited to
    • Schedule group and individual student tours with the assistance of student ambassadors including agenda, room scheduling logistics, presenters, lunch, and all details and communications related to the tour.
    • Event planning for special events hosted by the Admissions and Recruiting team.
    • Process invoices.
    • Order and procure supplies and related items as needed.
    • Initiate the application import processes from our CRM to a related database to ensure timely and accurate updates to student records.
    • Enter student applications, inquiries, test scores, and other student data into the student information system.
    • Run processes to trigger student communications (direct mail and email) daily using our CRM to notify students of their admissions status in a timely manner.
    • Process incoming transcripts for document imaging and evaluation for student admission to the college.
    • Update the appropriate systems to maintain student records.
    • Distribute mailings and other administrative tasks to student workers for processing.
    • Comply with the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), as well as all other confidentiality related best practices.
    • Collect data for use in various reports and presentations.
    • Contact students and respond to inquiries via incoming emails and texts and provide timely and accurate responses to students.
    • Provide assistance to incoming students, high school counselors, and staff in completing admissions applications.
    • Support and attend on and off-campus recruiting events.
    • Attend meetings, workshops, and other training sessions as directed by the supervisor.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.
