- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the organization's mission, vision, and objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Manage employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding processes to ensure a positive experience for new and departing employees.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Lead and coordinate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance.
- Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations, including FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and EEOC requirements.
- Develop and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.
- Oversee employee relations activities, including employee engagement surveys, recognition programs, and communication strategies.
- Manage HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee records.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
- Lead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster a culture of belonging and respect in the workplace.
- Stay informed about HR trends, best practices, and legal developments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is strongly preferred.
- Proven experience in HR management roles, with at least 5 of experience in a leadership position.
- Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and compliance.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively convey complex information.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that support organizational objectives.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
