    Job Responsibilities


    As an RTA, you will be at the heart of our Radiology workflow, taking on a variety of essential tasks, including:

    • Handling clerical duties in the file room, including answering and directing phone calls.
    • Organizing patient paperwork and managing PACS exceptions.
    • Acting as a liaison between patients, doctors, and staff, showcasing your strong interpersonal skills.
    • Assisting CT and MRI techs as a clinical resource assistant.
    • Safely moving, positioning, and transporting patients as needed.

    Qualifications


    We're looking for candidates who meet the following qualifications:

    • Education: High school graduate required.
    • Experience: 2 years of Radiology clerical experience preferred.
    • Certification: BLS certified or willing to obtain certification within 6 months of hire.
    • Skills: Positive interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
    • Prior experience with radiology scheduling is a plus.
    • Ability to make informed decisions with moderate supervisory direction.
    • Background in medical terminology preferred.
    • Experience with PACS systems and safe patient handling is required.
    • Exceptional versatility and knowledge of clerical operations throughout radiology.

    Working Conditions


    Your primary working hours will be from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with secondary shifts available from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM and 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. This role requires a commitment to providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment.
