    Join a professional services firm as Collections Manager where you will lead the firm's collections efforts. The Collections Manager will collaborate with the Billing team to resolve collections issues and manage AR. This role is hybrid working three days per week in Washington, DC.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage collections team to ensure consistent execution and address aged receivables promptly.
    • Coordinate year-end collection progress and participate in inventory review meetings.
    • Communicate with billing team and clients to drive collections and resolve issues.
    • Develop and implement effective reminder programs for unpaid invoices.
    • Analyze delinquent accounts, prepare reports, and make recommendations for resolution.
    • Oversee daily receipts posting and negotiate payment programs with clients.
    • Coordinate with third-party vendors for collections efforts or legal action.
    • Work with Accounting team on complex transactions.
    • Perform routine audits of collections work to ensure compliance and client outreach.
    • Plan for business disruptions and implement recovery plans for business continuity.
    • Manage recruitment, performance, development, and training of team members.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or related field required.
    • Minimum of five years of billing and collections experience with supervision responsibilities.
    • Proficiency in Elite 3E or similar accounting systems.
    • Strong communication, organization, and prioritization skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft applications.
    • Ability to provide quality client service with integrity and professionalism.

    Salary:

    • $120,000 - $140,000 based on experience

    Workplace Type:

    Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $140,000.00 per year
