    SL6Brief Description of Duties:The Director of Admissions and Enrollment Management is responsible for the overall leadership and management of the center's Student Personnel Services admissions and enrollment management programs.

    This includes developing and implementing admissions policies and procedures, managing the admissions staff, and overseeing the admissions process from start to finish.

    The Director also works closely with other departments at the center, such as the Registrar, to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process for prospective students.

    Additionally, the Director supervises adult workforce advising, including city service navigation and employment and career advising services to adult learners.


    Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
    Develop and implement admissions policies and procedures for the center.
    Manage the SPS staff and ensure they provide excellent service to prospective students.
    Oversee the admissions process from start to finish, including reviewing applications, making admissions decisions, and communicating with prospective students.
    Work closely with other departments at the center to ensure a smooth and efficient admissions process.
    Maintain close liaison with high school and regional community college guidance counselors and professional associations.
    Schedule off-campus visits by SPS staff.
    Supervise admissions advising, application processing, and records.
    Prepare and distribute the center's programs and other admissions literature.

    Provide for review of each application for admission in terms of admission criteria, with attention to program balance and enrollment capacity.

    Direct the giving of notice as to acceptance or non-acceptance and maintain waiting lists as appropriate.
    Continually investigate and develop ways of improving the admissions and enrollment management programs.
    Provide adult workforce advising, including helping adults assess their skills and interests, develop a resume, and search for jobs.

    Manage the SPS staff and ensure they provide city service navigation, including providing information about available services, helping people apply for benefits, and advocating on their behalf.

    Manage the SPS staff and ensure they provide employment and career advising, including helping adults identify their career goals, develop a plan to achieve those goals and make informed decisions about their careers.

    Develop and implement workforce development support programs for adults.
    Collaborate with community partners to provide comprehensive workforce development services.
    Advocate for the needs of adults in the workforce.


    Requirements:


    Minimum QualificationsMaster's degree in higher education administration, Social Work or a related field.5+ years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, Student Support services.

    Strong leadership and management skills.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
