You will join Credit Agricole CIB Americas as anCoverage Assistant.
You will support to the Transaction Management team and to the Bankers in the Power and New Energy office.

The Power and New Energy office is a high profile department within Credit Agricole CIB and covers all segments of the energy industry including Oil Majors, Independent E&P, Oilfield Services, Power, Energy Transition and Pipeline companies.

Your concrete missi ons will be the following :
Assessing creditworthiness of clients by using financial analysis, strategic business analysis, and cash flow projections


Performing due diligence, including:

researching, identifying and evaluating company and industry risks and trends; analyzing risks of various financial structures; assessing risk/return profile of transactions and relationships.

Preparation of credit proposals, liaising with key credit people in NY and Paris, including periodic credit reviews. Coordinating the review and negotiation of legal documents. Liaising with the client, other financial institutions, and internal credit and commercial groups. Monitoring the clients financial situation and the industry dynamics, assist relationship managers in generating cross-selling ideas.

Provide Origination/Client Coverage support to Bankers, including:

o Prepare pitch books for client and internal presentations.o Prepare briefing memos for client visits and for internal presentations/committees.o Prepare financial models and pro forma capital structures for idea generation and client visits.o Liaise with various product groups.o Participate in client visits and bank meetings.

Keeping current on industry knowledge, banking products, and financial structures.
