What You Will Do:
Review filling and packaging instructions at beginning of line runs. Ensure the correct packaging materials are available. Ensure the correct Personal Protective Equipment is available and other safety procedures are understood and followed.
Ensure the line is set up correctly per the filling and packaging instructionsOperate filling and packaging equipment continually.
Types of equipment could include filler, sleeve labeler, cappers, tape machine, bar coders, ink jet printer, hand wrenches, hand stamps, palletizers, and lid presses.
Adjust equipment to control weight, closures, or other as required by the specifications.Take samples and keeps area cleanActively participate in Kaizens, 5S, and special projects Continuingly identify opportunities for system and process waste elimination Complete and document activities that measure quality and productivity in an accurate and timely manner.
This could include taking weights and performing basic quality tests. Enter results on paper or in electronic systems.Complete packaging and filling assignment meeting or exceeding the standardsAssist with line changeover, including the collection of wash waterMaintain a clean and safe work environment.
Other duties as assignedPosition Details:
Sign On Bonus - $10001st installment $500 paid on Associate's regularly scheduled payroll- after start date2nd installment $500 paid after completing 90 days after start date To be eligible for the sign on bonus, candidates must not have worked for Ecolab in any capacity in the previous 12 months Plant location: Kennesaw, GAWork week and shift: Monday
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED1 year experience in plant or warehouse Ability to use basic math, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, fractions, percentages, and decimals No immigration sponsorship available for this role
Physical Demands:
Must be able to lift or carry 50lbs Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam
Preferred Qualifications:
