    The Position:

    The Snr Talent Acquisition Director will report to the Vice President, Human Resources – Product Identification.

    This role will lead all aspects of global talent acquisition, directly or indirectly, for the Product Identification (PID) Platform. The leader will develop global strategies and leverage direct recruiting team resources, strategic partnerships, and local operating company resources to deliver recruiting excellence. S/he will be accountable for the function with a focus on building and accelerating talent pipelines across all areas of the segment, including campus recruiting, professional recruiting, and executive recruiting at the operating company level, ensuring that the PID group of companies have a competitive advantage through the talent it attracts, develops, and retains.

    The following are the key responsibilities for the position:

    Talent is the differentiator, and germane to the continued above-market growth of this dynamic company. The Snr Director, Talent Acquisition will play a critical role in leading and executing in several core areas in this talent agenda, including:

    • Build the appropriate strategy & TA Model for the group of companies. Lead and develop talent acquisition team (direct and indirect) for Life Sciences & Diagnostics Platform companies.
    • Develop strategy and appropriate global TA model for the Platform.
    • Lead all direct and indirect talent acquisition activities within the business segment, from university hiring through professional and operating company executive positions. Own recruiting strategy, planning and execution/delivery ensuring we attract and hire top talent according to Danaher's talent standards.
    • Ensure talent acquisition process excellence, including utilization of DBS. Develop and/or leverage standard work for recruiting process excellence (plan, source, assess, select, hire).
    • Collaborate with HR leaders and Talent Management teams to understand needs/gaps and develop appropriate TA strategies/plans to address talent gaps.
    • Develop vendor management strategy for the platform – which partners, where, why, etc. Develop preferred partner networks as needed. Advance key partnerships and relationships with third party providers.
    • Improve use of recruiting technology, optimizing current systems and enhancing longer term alignment with the HRIS strategy. Drive global use of ATS, reporting, and optimization. Determine and leverage usage of other recruiting technologies.
    • Develop sourcing and talent pipelines, including employee referrals, job boards, direct sourcing, outsourced solutions, social media, etc. Leverage planning to identify gaps and focus areas for proactive sourcing.
    • Employment brand development, using leading-edge tools, including social media, to bring the Life Sciences & Diagnostics segment to a unified, globally attractive, high quality employment brand and presence.
    • Diversity recruiting, ensuring a diverse pipeline of talent across all functions and geographies.
    • Develop/leverage right set of metrics to drive TA excellence and performance.
    • University and MBA recruiting, including coordination and assessment of where and how PID should be recruiting in the future. Collaborate with Corporate University program team.
    • Partner with HR leaders and Hiring Managers to ensure transition of candidates to DHR's world class immersion program.

    Education and/or Experience

    • Bachelor degrees in a relevant field required and Advanced degree preferred
    • Proven leader in the field of Talent Acquisition, with 5 years of experience leading a team, having led talent acquisition across a global company with measurable results of success, while driving a well-integrated recruiting function known for process excellence, creativity, measurable ROI and commercial capabilities. This candidate will have led a function continually cultivating talent around the world, in multiple markets, and levels, and in support of the company's aggressive growth agenda. Preferred experience as a recruiter or sourcer.
    • Experience developing sourcing and talent attraction strategies. Knows how to find and attract top talent and develop the team's capabilities to do so.
    • Experience driving demonstrable results required.
    • Has significant leadership experience, working across cultures and geographies. Noted experience in emerging markets.
    • Experience and facility working in a lean /continuous improvement culture, with a track record of utilizing proven methodologies as a business practice.
    • Has experience influencing various stakeholders to drive change and achieve results in a dynamic, complex environment. Demonstrates success in partnering across a de-centralized company, and leading talent acquisition in a highly accountable, results-focused company, where leaders at all levels focus on demonstrating visible commitment to core values, operating principles and practices.
    • Experience leveraging TA technologies (e.g. - ATS, CRM, LinkedIn Recruiter, etc.).
    • Preferred experience in the Life Science, Diagnostics, medical devices Industry.
    • Experience with brand communications, messaging and use of social media channels.
