    Pelican Bay Foundation is the premier luxury community in Naples, FL. One of the area's largest exclusive enclaves, situated on more than three square miles and bordered by pristine white-sand beaches, our community offers the most diverse slate of amenities and activities anywhere in the region. We are seeking a full-time, year-round Host to join our Food and Beverage Team in Naples, FL.

    The Foundation manages all common areas, including two beach facilities and two private beachfront restaurants, two tennis facilities, two boardwalks, the Fitness Center and Wellness Studio, the Community Center, and approximately 90 acres of land.

    In this role, you will be a part of the front-of-the-house (FOH) F&B team and cultivate a culture of creating memorable experiences for members and guests. You'll have excellent communication skills, deliver a high level of customer service, and have the ability to maintain the highest integrity.     Requirements

    What You'll Do

    • Answer the telephone and facilitate member/guest requests
    • Escort members/guests to the table providing them with menus and accommodating any special requests
    • Maintain the cleanliness for the hostess station including desks, floors, and menus
    • Oversee the restaurant seating chart, ensuring volume equity to the serving staff
    • Maintain reservation database and any wait lists required with proper and accurate information
    • Set, buss, and reset tables to standards including chairs, table bases and surrounding floor areas
    Education
    • Minimum High school diploma/GED or equivalent
    • Any combination of education, training, and work experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities as described
    • FL DBPR approved ServeSafe Manager food handler certification preferred
    Skills & Experience
    • Ability to bend, lift and carry 30+ pounds
    • Ability to operate Point of Sale system and/or reservation system
    • Ability to stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl; and talk; or hear
