Must Have Skills/Experience:
Must be able to read, write and speak English
Responsible and accountable for quality care of patients while in the Imaging Department o Provides direct patient care while the patient is in the Imaging department including the monitoring of the patient's condition o Observes the patient's vital signs and records if applicable o Maintains the intravenous lines of those patients who are receiving intravenous fluids o Administers first aid and assists with patient comfort when applicable o Administers medications under the direction of a physician o Assists in various procedures in the Imaging department o Duties require interaction with patients of various age groups, social and economic backgrounds o Maintains IV skills o Maintains emergency equipment and supplies utilized in emergency patient care § Knowledgeable concerning emergency equipment available in the Imaging department and the placement of same within the department § Maintains the emergency equipment proper working order § Familiar with and maintains proper inventory in the crash cart and emergency reaction kits

Acts as a liaison between the Imaging department and the patient care division o Responsible for proper documentation of patient's records while the patient is in the Imaging department o Notifies the appropriate person concerning any adverse changes in the patient's condition or any problems encountered pertaining to patient care while the patient is in the Imaging department o Coordinates with patient care division any changes in Imaging policies and procedures which are enacted that would affect patient care division, i.

o Performs other duties as assigned by the Imaging Director
