    Position Overview:

    SunVest's Human Resources team is responsible for the people strategy, including compensation and benefits, talent attraction, retention and development. Through this ownership, they set up and continually optimize procedures for proper talent attraction, retention, performance management, leadership development, and career and succession planning.

    As the Senior Human Resources Analyst based in our Chicago HQ, you will report directly to the Chief People & Legal Officer and work closely with other team members to support and implement SunVest's People strategy, encompassing areas such as talent attraction, performance management, and employee development. This role extends to contributing to the creation of a positive and efficient workplace environment, assisting in the management and procurement of office supplies, and ensuring a welcoming experience for guests and visitors. Your expertise in People will be pivotal to SunVest's ongoing success, contributing to our sustainable growth strategy and the development of strategic plans for managing and improving renewable energy generation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze various types of HR data, such as employee performance metrics, turnover rates, hiring trends, and engagement levels. Utilize data-driven insights to inform and guide strategic HR decision-making, ensuring our People strategies are aligned with business objectives and employee needs. Support initiatives related to talent management, recruitment, retention, diversity and inclusion, and employee development.
    • Talent Attraction Support: Spearhead processes to identify and attract top talent. Collaborate in creating standardized offer letters and welcome packages, and maintain a dashboard for tracking new hire retention and talent attraction effectiveness.
    • Performance Management Support: Facilitate the development and regular updating of Job Scorecards. Assist in creating success plan templates and performance review documents, and support the annual performance and compensation review processes.
    • People Operations Support: Assist in analyzing health and benefits plans annually. Contribute to managing a compensation tracking system and prepare quarterly performance reports. Support career progression and development initiatives.
    • Culture Enhancement Support: Integrate SunVest's vision, mission, and values into daily operations and HR practices. Participate in planning and executing culture-building and team events, and assist in preparing presentations for Town Hall meetings. Conduct and analyze employee Net Promoter Score surveys.
    • Enhanced Workplace Environment and Guest Relations: Help maintain a functional and welcoming office environment. Manage office supplies procurement and contribute to a positive experience for guests and visitors.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field, with a record of strong academic performance.
    • Minimum of 4 years in Human Resources, with a preference for candidates with a solid background in compensation, benefits, employee engagement, and development initiatives.
    • Familiarity with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools. Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and systems.
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
