    Miller Electric is seeking a skilled Weld Engineer to join our highly collaborative team that develops cutting-edge welding solutions tailored to the needs of General Manufacturing, Fabrication, MRO, and Personal end users.

    As a Welding Engineer at Miller Electric, you will focus on new product development and sustaining initiatives to provide optimum solutions utilizing tools such as oscilloscopes and PC-based software programs.

    Evaluate welding arc performance for commercial welding power supplies.
    Optimize welding arcs for GMAW, GMAW-P, GTAW, and SMAW processes.
    Develop welding related solutions for customer challenges and issues.

    Welding Engineers are heavily involved in all stages of New Product Development and sustaining initiatives, sharing knowledge to guide our team to success.

    Partner with various levels of the organization, including production, engineering, marketing, and leadership to identify, strategize, and bring to life the latest and greatest welding products to the market.

    Support cross-functional team members with advanced customer applications and challenges.

    Technical Knowledge and Skills:
    Strong knowledge of GMAW, GMAW-P, GTAW, and SMAW welding processes, techniques, and settings. Basic understanding of electricity and how the variables impact the arc performance and the weldment.

    Relationship Building :
    Ability to learn quickly, work independently with minimal supervision, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

    Flexibility to Travel :
    Up to 25% travel required.

    Bachelor of Science Welding Engineering ( BSWE ) or Bachelor of Science Welding Engineering Technology ( BSWET) degree required)
    Minimum 3+ years welding engineer experience preferred, that includes experience in manufacturing.
