As an Enterprise Security Architect you will be pivotal in aligning our security posture with the agency's core mission with a strong focus on securing our expanding hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
Responsibilities
- Assess current technical state apply subject matter expertise on industry requirements articulate clear vision for sustainable security future to executive stakeholders
- Cordinate internal teams and industry partners to develop implement innovative security solutions complex problems require working consider autonomy provide opportunities mentor junior team members lead technical project delivery large complex organizations architect solution roadmaps capabilities alignment industry standards NIST SP800-37 SP800-53 DoD Zero Trust Reference Architecture experience leading alternatives analysis product selection including A&O AI Threat Detection NGFW IDS/IPS CAASM Vuln Mgt Analytics secure DevOps identify access management proven ability guide advise senior leaders CISO CIO build execute cybersecurity maturation author technical documentation reference models whitepapers blogs leading cybersecurity topics concepts Active TS/SCI clearance willingness take polygraph exam Associate degree years experience supporting IT projects activities Bachelor degree years experience supporting IT projects activities Master degree years experience supporting IT projects 10+ years experience supporting IT projects activities lieu degree Possession DoD 8570 IAT Level III certification well as IASAE Level I certification SecurityX CISSP fulfills both Must obtain DoD 8570 Cybersecurity Service Provider Infrastructure Support Certification e.g CEH CySA GICSP SSCP CHFI CFR Cloud CND prior start date Experience cyber engineering operations leadership role selecting designing implementing security tools capabilities large complex federal commercial organizations Strong familiarity capabilities architectural roles key cybersecurity technologies Firewalls IDS IPS SIEM EDR DLP guide decisions tool selection integration maturation Experience designing secure solutions hybrid multi-cloud architectures include analysis cross-domain data flows resource sizing RBAC policies Ability collaborate project proposal teams incorporate cybersecurity solutions develop high quality implementation plans roadmaps Delivering according Agile ITSM ITIL SELC best practices
