    Maximus seeks a Cyber Security Analyst with comprehensive knowledge and a track record of high-impact contributions. You will plan and lead significant projects, leveraging expertise to drive short-term and strategic growth.

    In this role, you will function as a technical expert across multiple assignments and may supervise team members, ensuring project success and client security.

    *This position is contingent on award*Responsibilities:

    • Design and implement cybersecurity control solutions that safeguard information and systems.
    • Fulfill complex enterprise-wide cybersecurity requirements based on user needs, policies, regulations, and resource constraints.
    • Identify security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities across networks, systems, and applications, proposing and implementing recommended mitigation measures.
    • Apply cybersecurity expertise to government and commercial common user systems, as well as specialized systems with unique security needs, such as command and control networks.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders in system security documentation, compliance, and RMF implementation.
    • Develop, implement, and maintain cybersecurity strategies, standards, policies, and procedures.
    • Provide expert cybersecurity integration advice and create action plans for security improvements.
    • Support continuous monitoring, ensuring compliance with NIST controls, DoD STIGs, and program policies

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in cybersecurity or a related discipline, or any bachelor's degree with a cyber-related certification of CISSP or higher.
    • In lieu of a BS/BA: Associate's degree in a cyber-related discipline and 12 years of work related experience, or 14 years of work related experience in relevant field with a high school diploma.
    • TS/SCI clearance is highly preferred. However, Top Secret with SCI Eligibility will be considered.
    • Bachelor's in a cybersecurity discipline with 10 years' experience OR Bachelors in any discipline and CISSP with 10 years' experience OR 14 years' experience in relevant field.
    • 10 years of work-related experience in cybersecurity in the following areas: o Practical knowledge of security frameworks (NIST 800-53, RMF, DIACAP).Strong technical writing capabilities. o Experience with Nessus, FedRAMP, and cloud /network security. o Linux and network expertise. o Comprehensive knowledge of operating systems and network security. o CompTIA Security+ or similar credentials (if not already holding CISSP or higher certification).

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Advanced certifications like CISSP/CISA/CISM/CRISC.
    • Cloud technology proficiency (AWS, Azure, GCP)

    Key Skills and Abilities:

    • Exceptional communication and organizational skills.
    • Microsoft Office proficiency.
    • Independent and collaborative working capacity.

    Pay Transparency Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment.

    Annual salary

    is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards.

    Additionally, Maximus provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off.

    Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience. An applicant's salary history will not be used in determining compensation. Maximus will comply with regulatory minimum wage rates and exempt salary thresholds in all instances. Posted Max USD $190,000.00/Yr. Posted Min USD $96,400.00/Yr.
