    Key Duties

    As an STNA, your primary responsibilities will involve caring for guests under the guidance of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. Some crucial tasks include:

    • Recording vital signs accurately
    • Noting and documenting height, weight, intake, output
    • Maintaining a clean and safe guest environment
    • Assisting with bathing, grooming, and toileting needs
    • Supporting guests with their eating and hydration requirements
    • Monitoring guests' skin conditions during care provision, with prompt reporting of any changes to the licensed nurse; offering necessary skin care
    • Addressing guests' mental health and social welfare needs

    Requirements

    • Completion of high school education or possession of GED certificate
    • Mandatory STNA certification
