Job summary
As a part of a Union environment, our team is looking for an individual that can be flexible during their probationary period.
+Responsibilities
- Observes all company safety policies and procedures as well as maintain good housekeeping, GMP and Global Food Safety practices
- *Lockout/Tagout procedures
- Identification of complex problems with mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, hydraulic issues on all associated equipment (conveyors, compressors, chillers, programmable controllers, robots); review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Dismantle and reassemble machines to fit or replace necessary parts
- Able to understand and complete Preventative Maintenance based on Preventative Maintenance schedules
- Maintain plant equipment to ensure maximum efficiency/li>Able to work with vendors and/or contractors as required/li>Evaluate the effectiveness of maintenance programs in preventing downtime.
- You are 18 years of age or older/li.High School Degree or equivalent/li.At least 2+ years in a manufacturing/production environment(liExperience with mechanical repair required You have knowledge of fabrication/machine shop tools/hydraulics/pneumaticsYou have ability to read/follow schematics/electrical diagrams/blueprints/
