We are seeking a talented and board-certified Internal Medicine Cardiologist to join our team on a locum tenens basis in Medford, Oregon.

This position is ideal for a skilled physician looking to provide dedicated outpatient care in a dynamic clinical environment.


Job Details:

Start Date:
April 14, 2025, with ongoing potential


Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with a requirement of one week per month


Patient Load:
12-15 patients per shift


Practice Setting:
Outpatient only


EMR System:
Epic


Support Staff:
2 Registered Nurses, 5 Medical Assistants, 2 PA/NPs, and 6 office staff


Holiday Coverage:
Includes major holidays such as New Year's Day, Memorial Day, and more


Skills and Certifications Required:
Board Certification in Internal Medicine

• Cardiology.

ACLS and BLS certifications. Experience with non-invasive cardiology and echocardiography. Experience with procedures like TEE, nuclear cardiology, and diagnostic invasive cardiology is preferred.


Facility Details:
This is a Level 3 Trauma facility with no pediatrics. Stroke certification is in place. Temporary privileges are not required, allowing for immediate start upon setup.

• Friday clinic only (8am 5pm) 1 week a month is needed.

HIGHLY prefer one provider to cover the coverage need but will look at availability. Provider will see anywhere from 12-15 patients a day. We are flexible so if the provider is only available for 4 days, we would consider. No privileges required so they can start as soon as set up.

We have 04/14 as a start here but it could be later depending on how fast a candidate is sourced.
