- Utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation)
- Collaborating with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care
- Caring for residents in all phases of preventative care, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up
- Coordinating care and providing patient education
- Serving as a charge nurse and delegating tasks to ensure safe and reliable care
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- One year of long-term care, subacute care, or medical/surgical experience preferred
- Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing
- Maintains required certifications and completes necessary CEUs and competency training
