Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift:
Mid Shift – 3x12 Hours (3:00 PM – 3:30 AM)
Weekend Requirement:
Every Other Weekend
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in a busy Level II Trauma Center.
The Emergency Department sees approximately 250–340 visits per day and serves a diverse patient population, including 30% pediatric patients.Requirements
Active RN license
Minimum 2 years of ER experience (1+ year strong ER experience considered)
Pediatric experience required (Hardstop)
Travel experience required
Experience in Level II Trauma Center preferred
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (Required)
LA City Fire Card (Required)
Clinical Skills & Experience
Candidates must be experienced in:
Triage and emergency response
IV starts and IV medication administration
Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management
Stroke and STEMI care
Trauma cases (MVA, gunshot wounds, sepsis, CHF)
Ventilator management and intubation
Chest tube management
Administration of vasopressors, sedation, antibiotics, cardiac medications
Care of adult and pediatric emergency patients
Experience with trauma, neurological emergencies, psychiatric emergencies, and respiratory cases is highly preferred.

24 hours of orientation
Typical ER equipment including vents, IV pumps, defibrillators, and cooling blankets
