    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) |Newark, OH (Onsite Only)| Multiple Openings Available

    Full-time or Part-time School Year: 2024/2025 K-12th Grade

    As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the communication skills and academic success of students across various grade levels. Full-time and part-time positions are available to accommodate your schedule.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' speech, language, and communication skills.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language goals and objectives.
    • Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and small group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
    • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities and routines.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, team meetings, and other collaborative meetings to discuss student progress, goals, and interventions.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessment results, therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required documentation.

    Qualifications:

    • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Valid license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Ohio.
    • Experience working with students across various grade levels (K-12) preferred.
    • Knowledge of developmental milestones and typical speech and language development in children and adolescents.
    • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in responding to the diverse needs of students and the school community.
