- HR Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with organizational goals and foster a positive work culture.
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations. Develop onboarding programs to ensure smooth transitions for new hires.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance, mediation, and conflict resolution as needed. Foster positive relationships between employees and management.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits. Coordinate open enrollment periods, communicate benefit options to employees, and address benefit-related inquiries.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms. Provide coaching and support to managers on performance-related matters.
- HRIS Management: Utilize ADP's HRIS (Human Resources Information System) to manage employee data, payroll processing, time and attendance tracking, and other HR functions. Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the system.
- Compliance: Stay abreast of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure compliance with labor laws, EEOC guidelines, and other regulatory requirements. Manage HR audits and investigations as necessary.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for employee development. Coordinate training programs and initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Employee Engagement: Develop and implement initiatives to promote employee engagement, recognition, and retention. Conduct employee surveys, analyze feedback, and recommend strategies for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in human resources management, with a focus on HRIS administration and experience with ADP.
- Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS software (ADP Workforce Now preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required. HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is preferred.
