DescriptionOverview
Cornucopia's deli serves healthy, allergen-friendly food that is 100% non-GMO and almost entirely Organic. Deli Clerks provide immaculate customer service by pleasantly greeting customers, readily answering any questions they may have, performing light preparation, packaging, and serving our various dishes. Deli clerks are also responsible for light cleaning of utensils and equipment while the store is open, along with a more complete cleaning routine upon closure for the day.
Our team thrives off of the high energy workplace and abundant conversations with both customers and fellow employees. The Deli Clerk position is an excellent entry point to the world of customer service and prepared foods with opportunities for advancement into supervisory and managerial positions behind the counter - as well as in the kitchen. Flexible schedules and unique benefits make this an excellent part-time position for students while committed and effective team members may easily find a full-time career in Cornucopia's deli.

Responsibilities
- Greet all customers and provide friendly, efficient customer service
- Prepare, package, and serve menu items
- Ensure all products meet our standards and are fit for sale
- Log & dispose of product which do not meet our standards
- Adhere to all serving guidelines including portion size & proper labelling
- Adhere to proper health codes and standards
- Maintain a clean and orderly workplace
- Lightly clean all work surfaces upon completion of each day of business
- Prepare fresh fruits and vegetables for juices & smoothies
