Speech Language Pathologist at UHS Wilson Medical Center

United Health Services is looking for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our WMC Speech Pathology Therapy department at UHS Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, NY. This opportunity is on a Per Diem basis.

Shift: Day
Hours per week: 0
Salary range: $59.38 per hour, depending on experience.

Overview: Responsible for providing timely and accurate speech-language pathology services. Conducts evaluations and treatments for inpatient and outpatient services, ensuring thorough clinical documentation. Upholds high service delivery standards covering customer satisfaction, quality processes, communication norms, compliance requirements, and care environment.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- ASHA Certification or Clinical Fellowship year candidate

Preferred:
- Previous clinical experience
- Expertise in dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders

License/Certification:

- NYS license or eligibility for Speech Language Pathologist licensure
- CPR certification within the initial 3 months of employment
Preferred:
- Certification as a Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities
