- Enter client financial information - including processing payroll for several clients
- Prepare payroll tax deposits and schedule deposits with EFTPS and SCDOR
- Balance client accounts monthly
- Perform data entry and administrative duties
- Prepare profit and loss statements and/or balance sheets
- Communicate with clients to obtain missing data to ensure correct financial statements
- Previous experience in accounting, finance, or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of bookkeeping software (not including Quickbooks)
- Clear understanding of year end bookkeeping close out process - journal entries
- Clear understanding Double Entry Bookkeeping
- Strong organizational skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- In depth understanding of accounting debits and credits
