Piper Maddox is partnering with a leading distributed energy platform dedicated to designing, implementing, and financing innovative clean energy solutions.
They recently went through a great round of fundraising and with their new PE backing are looking to expand their team from coast to coast.
They are looking for a talented Applications Engineer to play a pivotal role in our distributed energy and microgrid projects.
As an integral part of our team, you will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of diverse DER assets, including solar, energy storage, controls, and reciprocating engines.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a power-related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in power/generation/renewable energy commercial & industrial projects.
Technical understanding of distributed energy technologies, including solar, battery, and natural gas generators.
Understanding of utility-side interconnection processes.
Knowledgeable about various DER power sources within the Microgrid and their efficient integration with the utility.
This is a remote opportunity but this individual must be located in the Northeast, preferably NJ, NY, PA, or CT as there will be required travel to client sites in this area.
