    Job Description


    American Traveler is hiring a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract at a large Level I Trauma Center and Academic Medical Center, requiring at least 1 year of IR experience and ARRT(R) certification.

    Responsibilities

    • Work in an Interventional Radiology unit at a large, short-term acute care Level I Trauma Center with 1,567 staffed beds
    • Bi-campus coverage required across two hospital campuses
    • 5x8 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
    • No weekend shifts required
    • No on-call required
    • Charting performed in Epic
    • Parking available at a cost of $125
    • This is a large academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center — candidates should have comparable setting experience
    • Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
    • RTO exceeding 7 days requires facility approval
    • Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
    • COVID vaccination and booster required, with religious or medical exemptions considered
    • Misty Green OR scrubs are provided by the facility
    • 1 professional reference required for consideration

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience required
    • ARRT(R) and BLS certifications required
    • Trauma center experience at a large facility required
    • License required if applicable — pending license accepted, but must be active prior to start
    • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
    • Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
