Medical Social Worker, Inpatient Services - High Point, NC

Job summary
This is a full-time salaried exempt position responsible for planning and implementing a plan of care in accordance with the patient's wishes to address the patient and family's emotional social legal financial spiritual and practical needs in order to affect satisfactory outcomes for coping with the patient's illness. The position requires excellent written and oral communication skills ability to maintain positive working relationships knowledge or ability to become knowledgeable of the hospice philosophy of care and ability to work independently within an interdisciplinary team.A Master's degree MSW from an accredited school of social work is required along with minimum one year healthcare experience. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker LCSW is preferred.
