    Rewarding and exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing direct services to adults in substance use and mental health recovery.

    This full-time position is based in Bloomington, IL and offers the ideal candidate the opportunity to work with clients across the spectrum of behavioral health needs – from assessment to various levels of substance use treatment, to outpatient mental health treatment.

    Responsibilities


    Conduct diagnostic and assessment evaluations with clients and their families; write bio­ psychosocial reports to address diagnosis and patient placement criteria.

    Plan and implement client treatment. Conduct admissions and discharges. Develop Master Treatment Plans (MTP) and determine continuing care plans. Provide individual, family and group counseling and rehabilitation services to clients and their families. Facilitate skills and educational groups. Maintain client records. Maintain regular contact with each client's collaterals (probation, family, psychiatrist). Provide court testimony when requested. Participate in program and staff development activities. Supervise interns and assist in new clinician orientation. Serve as a peer leader to informally advise staff (clinical mentor) and provide clinical guidance to less experienced staff. Demonstrate project management capability or leadership potential.

    Qualifications

    Requires Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work or related field. Must be eligible and obtain CADC certification or licensure within two years of hire. Must have a valid driver's license, private automobile insurance and be insurable. Requires basic computer skills and experience to include MS Outlook, Adobe Acrobat and an electronic medical record (EMR).
