    Job Title: Facilities & Maintenance Manager

    Summary:
    The Facilities & Maintenance Manager oversees facility and contractor management projects, with a focus on both the Foundry and Finishing groups. Responsibilities include maintenance safety, environmental projects, downtime planning, training, special projects, and work scheduling.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead Foundry and Finishing Maintenance Supervisors and Union Team Members
    • Collaborate closely with Foundry, Finishing, Manufacturing Engineering, and Executive leadership
    • Oversee facility and contractor managed projects
    • Support Maintenance Stores Inventory
    • Coordinate emergency repairs and monitor maintenance parts and materials
    • Develop and maintain vendor and integrator relationships
    • Enforce safety and housekeeping practices
    • Participate in the new hire process, coaching, and disciplinary actions
    • Develop long-range preventative maintenance and training plans
    • Conduct audits including Parts/Inventory, Preventative Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and Operational Testing

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor s degree preferred in Operations or Project Management
    • 7 years of related experience in facility operations or maintenance repair
    • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder interests
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational and project management abilities
    • Initiative-taking attitude with multitasking capabilities
    • Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
    • Moderate computer skills, quick learner of new software

    Physical Requirements:

    • Extended periods of standing and walking
    • Some desk work and computer usage

    Work Environment:

    • Exposure to various elements such as cold, heat, noise, dust, and odors
    • Combination of time spent on the manufacturing floor and in a managerial office
    • Potential alternating rotation of 1st and 2nd shifts
    • Minimal travel required to other McWane facilities and suppliers
