This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service while assisting customers with purchases by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties
1.Greets customers, answers questions and provides prompt, courteous service.
2.Responsible for all payment transactions with customers including cash payments, dispensing change, and running credit card payments for customers while maintaining accurate cash drawer.
3.Must record opening and closing coin, lottery tickets, and print all reports for shift for books.
4.Activates pumps outside with credit cards and fills customer fuel tank with correct grade and amount of fuel and providing receipts of sale.

Schedule: Monday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday 1:45pm-10:15pm
Off Tuesday & Wednesday Job Duties

• Perform all closing duties including posting Veeder root, setting alarm and securing building (may not be applicable at all stations).
• Prepare hot food while maintaining all food safety standards.
• Dispensing lottery tickets.
• Verifies age of customer when purchasing alcohol, cigarettes or lottery.
• Maintains and restocks supplies and store inventory.
• Completes assigned cleaning responsibilities.
• Reports any suspicious activity to direct supervisor and authorities, if needed.
• Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.
• Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
• Respectfully takes direction from supervisor / district coordinator.
• Maintains Chevron Customer First Standards.
• Completes morning numbers paperwork when needed.
• Is able to open and close the store when needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Computer SkillsHas the minimal skills necessary to operate a computer. Can log on to a computer system, navigate in windows, perform simple tasks within applications and enter information into a database.

Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
