- Ensure projects comply with relevant codes and standards.
- Create and maintain project schedules for mid-size to large projects.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Assist in producing HVAC and plumbing system deliverables (specifications, drawings, calculations, basis of design documents) for new and existing facilities.
- Coordinate with other disciplines, clients, and contractors.
- Mentor and share knowledge with other team members.
- Oversee project energy modeling, life cycle cost analysis, and 2D drawing creation (using Trace 3D, BLCC, and REVIT).
- Perform construction period services (reviewing submittals, responding to RFIs).
- Deliver presentations to large groups.
- Strong HVAC/Plumbing design experience in industrial, commercial, central plants, boilers, chillers, etc.
- Knowledge of building mechanical codes and ability to perform load calculations.
- Sustainable design knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Architectural Engineering from an accredited program.
- Experience in:Federal industry
- European, General MILCON, or Civil Works projects
- Building controls systems design/building automation
- CFD modeling
- Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
- Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, which may include criminal background checks, drug screenings, and motor vehicle record searches.
